be patient for the gaiety :)

I thank God for this amazing moment

Every single day keeps its own secret

Knitting your wish and nourishing your eagerness are all you have to carry on

Wake up,  the gaiety has been waiting you for quite long time

TG2008's just everything I had hoped we'd be.

They're my family, a family who has taught me to be superb, fervent, but not to be selfish.

Opportunism!

A term i heard for the first time soon after I was in 2nd year. Someone who lives nearby this term called Opportunist. Hohoohoho, do I have to describe this term clearly?

My first year in ITB might be convenient for me to adapt in a new fettle. 3 successive years later, walking in the same road makes us, Geophysical Engineering ITB batch 2008 >> chummy, strong, and boisterous :D

2nd year resume:

We were extremely shocked with an-oh-my-god-what-was-happening-in-the-world-when-our-seniors-shouted-"HEH TURUN, JANGAN CURI-CURI"-eerie-condition. It pushed us to realize that the biggest obstacle we must conquer : (simply and solely) our ownselves. Few months later, we were crowned as TERRA.

3rd year resume:

All to-do lists had transformed me to be a struggler. I took 24 credits for my 5th semester (i vowed!). And finally I knew, those credits killed my brain boldly. I had been suppressed and frequently embalmed my back with minyak-kayu-putih-cap-kaki-tiga :D. It was much better to get together a chat with my family, studying all alone just keep my brain exploding.

253176_1864188282373_1170983044_31766967_3463350_n
In the end of 6th semester, we went to Karangsambung, West Java for academic purpose. 2 weeks were enough to bind us tighter \m/

4th year resume:

It is officially begun to foresee what will be ensued next year. Yeah, the AUDITION for Final Project's Guide (isn't it too pathetic, if i type the word 'audition' italicly-capslocked? :p). For me it seems so essential choosing the best person whom we are going to deal with.

Henceforth, let us show our best effort. Grip our belief, finish this journey well, and I'm sure the sweet standstill has been waiting for us since the first time we met.

With my deepest love for you, Geophysical Engineering 2008 :*

the MOST VALUABLE week @ mitsui (vol 2)

Our second week in PT MITSUI INDONESIA was (again) very wonderful.

  • Monday, 11th July.

Chemical Day. wohooo!! Yet i am not studying about chemistry deeply. But both division (Basic chemical and Performance) showed us their works in bridging the movement of chemical industry in Indonesia. First, we were introduced about petrochemical and basic polymer, like olefins, aromatics, styrene monomers, polyester. PT Mitsui Indonesia (PTMI) works for expanding business with its strategic partners. It also assists in order to supply the raw material that needed by chemical industry. One of big manufacture handled by PTMI is Kaltim Pacifik Amoniak in Bontang, East Kalimantan. PTMI is playing its part in securing the raw material for fertilizers.

In the afternoon, all interns visited PT Hexa Indonesia in Cikarang, this company takes part in plastic coloring. We were surprised with the sophisticated technology in transformating the raw polystirene into multicolored polystirene. So basically, all materials even automotive, house hold tools, office, school..each of them has specific color. Well when the color had been in processing stage, it was combined by other color and finally the new color had been created. PT Hexa received the request from its customer, processed it, and threw it back. Nice!!

  • Tuesday, 12th July

We were going to Surabaya seemingly, accompanied by Mr Kresna and Mr Joko. After arriving at Juanda Airport, we were taken by shuttle car. It spent approx. 3 hours between Surabaya-Paiton. In the middle of the trip, we also took a moment to see lumpur Lapindo. We were welcomed with (omaygod) extremely hot weather but fortunately all staffs in Paiton Energy gave their kindness to guide us during our trip there. ^_^

So after having lunch, we went to the office. Scrutinizing all explanations from the manager, concerning how was the formation of Paiton at the first time? How Paiton Energy do their activity everyday and Supply the coal as the fuel of this power plant. FYI The power plant was established on the huge area and divided into several block. Paiton Energy supports our government to maintain electricity in Java region. Great experience to see the power plant itself, look at the sturdy pillars around it and all workers there have their excellent performances in monitoring this plant everyday. WAW !!!

But you know, noticing almost all the process there, it made us exhausted. Therefore at 6pm all of us returned to the office and then we had to go to our lodging, provided by Paiton Energy. Tons of thankssssss : ))

This company has their own housing. All interns were accomodated with some guesthouses, 3persons/house. The guesthouse was just 100% awesome. At the evening, we were treated with delightful dinner next to a pool. We talked much about everything, laughing, relaxing, and singing. Yes, this company has a studio too (equipped with adequate instruments). No body intercepted his/her emotion...we were all soluble in familiarity

My trip to Paiton still continued in the following day,,,so please kindly wait for my next writing. Merci beaucoup pour votre volonte ^_^

the MOST VALUABLE week @ mitsui (vol 1)

Previously, I've never imagined that i would spend week by week in this internship program. PT MITSUI INDONESIA, have you ever heard about this company before?

Sure, because of their own strategy which chose not to sell a product and have no factory, but have plenty of stock & took part in every facet of our life.

But i'm sure you know these following places and companies: nikko hotel, bussan auto finance, yamaha, botan sardines, kaltim pasifik amoniak, Tangguh LNG Project, Paiton Energy Company, Trinet logistic. Mitsui has important parts in order to manage them all.

PT Mitsui Indonesia started the internship program from 2008, so i'm the 4th batch.

As a japanese enterprise and based on the philosophy that never faded by time, this company has 6 magnificent elements. Those elements are:

  • Core capabilities
  • Covering all across the industries
  • Global network
  • Synthesizer
  • History
  • People

And the last element "PEOPLE", this takes a very important role. Therefore, this company really respects and appreciates all people who joined with it.

"It all starts with people" (Takashi Masuda)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So many new things, i' ve received from this program. Now i know more about Global business, trading company, organization of a company, hotel management, consumer service, IT system, export-import, finance, and much-so-on-s

AND BASICALLY, i am an undergraduate student (geophysics) who only know about earth and ignore to explore all things above.

But hei, it doesnt mean because you're an engineer so you never respect about -for example- Credit risk ^_^ right?

And  still a week more before this program will be fully closed. Next week, all interns have an opportunity to visit one of mitsui's asset. A power plant in Paiton, East Java.

Oiyaa, hampir lupa, i have new friends here. other interns. 9 talented human beings i think. They are fantastic, stormy, cheerful, and often crazy HAHAHAA

Turn off the tap when not in use

Last week i captured this image, when i was entering a toilet in my campus.

Img00498-20110610-1847
I think the sticker above the tap is somewhat exaggerated. Moreover, there is a pool of water inside the earth which appears to be increasingly out.

Now i persuade you to visualize the reality in our daily life.

How often did we swivel the tap, fill in our tub until the water spilled, and then we snatch the water greedily scoop by scoop ?

After drying off our body, we forgot to turn off the tap, and the water would continue to overflow.

Unfortunately, we just realized this...several hours later when we are going back to the bathroom.

So i should agree with the previous image, all of us often do some careless actions. We think that it won't be something extraordinary, when we forget taking control the tap. But, not only us but people in the entire world (i'm sure) have ever done the same thing.

Admittedly, we don't feel the lack of water.

But please try to be a wise man, care about those who are still struggling for a drop of water.

i just wrote this, re-fulfilling my posterous (again)

"hei you there!" the sun suddenly reprimand the earth

"me, i'm earth. Oo you're too bright to be seen"

"hell yeah, although i'm not the hell in the true sense. I never feel this guilty pleasure before" now the sun is trying to woo the earth

"what do you mean about a guilty pleasure? Please weaken your body, i can see you clearly..you're increasingly hot" earth

................

actually it's 12am on the earth now

"i wonder why do you always pretend as the most single-handed thing in this universe" SUN

"don't you know, i am the one who truly lives and you're not" EARTH

"HAAAA -__-a" SUN

"I have lifes inside me and poor me, I can't stand up in any longer time. I wanna explode if it's the most telling way for me T.T" EARTH

.............

actually it's abruptly rain on the earth now

"Tet tot tet tottt, hei let's search the best solution for your problem. I'm big and unbeatable, Bima Sakti always pays attention to me. I can urge all of celestial bodies" SUN

"All..something out there..err..err i never interact with them" EARTH with a scared face

"Trust me oh earth, we've been living together since billions of years" SUN

"How kind of you, please find something else like me. I'm begging you" EARTH

"hhm don't be hesitate, my pleasure controls my mood" SUN

"How do I reply your help" EARTH

"nope, you need not to. I'm always impressed with your effort, surrounding me within 3 6 5 D A Y S. How come?" SUN

"That's the way of my life :')" EARTH
